Mrs. Dorothy McCord James, age 85, of McEwen, TN, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, in Dickson, TN. Mrs. James was born September 17, 1927, in Tennessee City, TN, to Calvin Rice and Nellie Stella Heaney McCord. She was married to Calvin Sanders James for 65 loving years. She was a member of Poplar Grove Church of Christ in McEwen, TN, since 1976. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 2, 2013, from 3-8 p.m. Visitation on Monday, June 3, 2013, will be from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Bro. Jim Suddeath and Bro. Larry Ellis will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
