Mrs. Hilda Bernice Breeden Blackburn, age 85 of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at NHC Health Care Center in Dickson, TN. Mrs. Blackburn was born May 6, 1928 in Hustburg, TN, to Claude and Otis Talbert Breeden. She was married to Robert Ray Blackburn. She was a member of Hustburg Church of Christ. She was a retired boot maker for Acme Boot Company in Waverly, TN, an avid cook and gardener. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 15, 2013, from 1 p.m. until funeral service time at 3 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Joe Rhodes will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
