Rosemary Lynn Durham Tate

Mrs. Rosemary Lynn Durham Tate, age 75, of McEwen, TN, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Rosemary Tate was born on March 19, 1938, in Franklin, TN, to Willie James and Jennie Rozelle Andrews Lynn. Rosemary was married to Alton Durham who passed away on May 3, 1990. Her second husband was James R. "Sammy" Tate. She was a member of Wildwood Valley Church of Christ in Hurricane Mills, TN. She was an avid reader, having read hundreds of books each year for the past several years. She was a longtime receptionist for Luff-Bowen Funeral Homes in Waverly and McEwen, TN, was still actively employed and will be greatly missed. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 10 a.m. until funeral service time at 1 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Rick Rolin of Lewisburg, TN, and Bro. Jeremy McFarlin of Hurricane Mills, TN, will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Active pallbearers will be Andy Bryan, Scott Bryan, Danny Lynn, Roger Lynn, Darrell Patterson, and Jerry Durham. Survivors include: Husband: James R.
