James Walter Garmon

Mr. James "Jimmy" Walter Garmon, age 70, of Alcoa, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Mr. Garmon was born in Nashville, TN on December 21, 1942, to Walter B. and Era Wauford Garmon. He was a graduate of Waverly Central High School. He was a retired boilermaker. Jimmy loved broadcasting basketball games on the radio station. Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 5, 2013 from 1 p.m. until Celebration of Life service at 3 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly.
