Mr. John Edward "Johnny" Hopkins, age 65, of Hurricane Mills, TN and formerly of Nashville, TN, passed away at his daughter's home in McEwen, TN, on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Mr. Hopkins was born March 14, 1947 in Huntsville, AL to Reuben and Maddie Maddle Hopkins. He was a retired painter, a barber, and the retired owner of Maw & Paw's Bar in Nashville, TN. Mr. Hopkins will be cremated and a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Nashville, TN.
