Mr. Gary Dean Smith, age 69, of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 in Waverly, TN. He was born on April 13, 1943 in Waverly, TN, to Billy Edward and Edith Rebecca Curtis Smith. He was a retired Shipping and Receiving Clerk for E. I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN. Gary was an avid farmer. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 11:30 AM until 9 PM, and Monday, January 28, 2013, from 9:00 AM until funeral service time at 1:00 PM, at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Bro. Tony Curtis will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Jones-Owens-Mayberry Cemetery in Hurricane Mills, TN.
