James Burness Peek

Mr. James Burness Peek, age 80, of Waverly, TN, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012, in Waverly. Mr. Peek was born January 11, 1932 in McEwen, TN, to Verdy Lee and Hattie Watts Peek. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Michigan after 37 years of service. He moved back to Humphreys County, TN in 1991 from Michigan. Mr. Peek enjoyed time spent with "The Old Timers" from Judy's Restaurant in Waverly, TN. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012, from 9 A.M. until funeral service time at 11 A.M., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Mr. Ray Barger will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the McEwen Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
