Joe A. Mallard, Sr.

Mr. Joe A. Mallard, Sr., age, 94 of Mt. Juliet and formerly of Waverly, TN, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at The Gardens at Providence Place in Mt. Juliet, TN. He was born in Waverly, TN on March 26, 1918, to Jesse Carl, Sr. and Edith Turner Mallard. He was a member of Waverly Central High School Class of 1936, member of the Humphreys County Farm Bureau, and a former member of the Humphreys County Election Commission. He was a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church in Waverly, TN. He was a retired Instrument Technician for E. I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 1, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Phil Ross will be officiating. Interment will follow in the H. B. Parker Cemetery in Waverly, TN. The family extends their gratitude to The Gardens at Providence Place in Mt. Juliet, TN.
