Mrs. Dorothy May Daugherty Griffin Betty, age 84, of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Mrs. Betty was born in Primm Springs, TN on March 8, 1928. She was a cook for local convenient stores and retired from Waverly Shell Station. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 2, 2012, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Pastor Daron Brown will be officiating. Interment of cremains will follow in the Griffin Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
