Margie Ann Johnson Tester

Mrs. Margie Ann Johnson Tester, age 80, of McEwen, TN, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012, in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Tester was born on June 22, 1932 in McEwen, TN to Louis L., Sr. and Gladys Yates Johnson. She was a graduate of Waverly Central High School Class of 1951. She was married to Elton Tester. She was a homemaker and a member of Mariah Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Visitation with the family will be from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Rev. Ed Woolum will officiate a brief service at 10:30 a.m. in the Luff-Bowen Chapel in Waverly. Graveside service and interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in McEwen, TN, with Rev. Ken Young of McEwen officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Center, 300 20th Avenue, North, Nashville, TN 37203.
