Willis Louis Thomason

Mr. Willis Louis Thomason, age 74, of McEwen, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the Waverly Health Care Center in Waverly, TN. Mr. Thomason was born November 9, 1937 in Wilder Mountain, TN. He was a member of Open Bible Assembly in McEwen, TN, and a retired commercial diver. He was preceded in death by his wife; Myra Jayne Conner Thomason, parents; Earl and Jessie Mae Welch Thomason. Survivors include 3 daughters; Veronica Hand (Michael), McEwen, TN, Darla Thomason and Sheryl Thomason, Albuquerque, NM, son; Jeff Thomason, San Antonio, TX, 4 brothers; Melvin Thomason, Dayton, OH, Gerald Thomason, Oakville, CT, Jimmy Joe Thomason, Dayton, OH, Charlie Thomason, Altamonte Springs, FL, 4 sisters; Ruth Dillon, Dayton, OH, Barbara Dillon, West Palm Beach, FL, Nellie Bailey, South Charleston, OH, Deloris Lucille Brown, Indianapolis, IN, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his beloved pet dog; Peanut. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 7, 2012, from 11:30 A.M. until funeral service time at 3:00 P.M., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Pastor Kent Curtis of McEwen, TN and Bro. Ray Boyd of Bon Aqua, TN, will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
