Homer Shannon Ladd

Mr. Homer Shannon Ladd, age 81 of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012. Mr. Ladd was born October 7, 1930 in Waverly, TN. He was a member of Spann Church of Christ in Waverly, TN. Mr. Ladd was a retired lab technician for E. I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN, a U. S. Army Korean War veteran, and was a former member of Hickman-Patterson American Legion Post #34 in Waverly, TN. The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned. Mr. Ladd was preceded in death by his parents; Boyd Page and Effie Mai Shannon Ladd, brother; George Ladd, 2 sisters; Jean Ridings and Ann Werfel, son-in-law; J. D. Hill. Survivors include his wife; Istalena Browning Ladd, New Johnsonville, TN, daughter; Patty Hill, New Johnsonville, TN, grandson; Kris Kee (Abbie), Davenport, FL, brother; Johnny Ladd, Waverly, TN, special brother-in-law; Douglas Ridings, Hermitage, TN, numerous nieces and nephews.
