Eva Lena Larkin

Mrs. Eva Lena Larkin, age 92, of Waverly, TN, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, in Waverly, TN. She was born July 4, 1919 in Plant, TN. Mrs. Larkin was a retired school teacher for Humphreys County Board of Education, member of Humphreys County Retired Teachers Assoc., very active member of Waverly United Methodist Church, member of Potpourri FCE Club, Ladies Golf Club, and numerous bridge clubs. She was a true southern lady regardless of the difficulties she faced. She never complained and was an inspiration to those who knew her. Visitation with the family will be at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN, from 2:30-8:00 P.M., Sunday, February 26, 2012. Monday visitation will be at the Waverly United Methodist Church, 115 West Main St., Waverly, TN, from 9:00 A.M. until funeral service time at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Frank Smith of Columbia, TN and Rev. Phil Ross of Waverly, TN will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in the J. Warren Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN. Survivors include: Son: Harris C.
