Jay Don Simpson, Jr.

Mr. Jay Don "J.D." Simpson, Jr., age 81 of McEwen, TN, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Simpson was born on May 30, 1930 in McEwen, TN. He was a U. S. Army Korean War veteran and a retired maintenance worker for E. I. DuPont in New Johnsonville, TN. He attended Liberty Baptist Church on Little Blue Creek Road in McEwen, TN and was a member of the American Legion. He loved playing his guitar, singing and playing golf. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2-8PM and Monday, December 19, 2011 from 11AM until funeral service time at 2PM, at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rev. Kenneth Young will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
