James Austin Phy

James Austin Phy, age 16, of McEwen, TN, died Monday, November 14, 2011 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. He was born October 10, 1995 in Nashville, TN. James was a Sophomore at McEwen High School, a member of the McEwen church of Christ, McEwen High School Football team, McEwen High School Baseball team, and the McEwen church of Christ Youth Group. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. at the McEwen High School Gymnasium on Sunday November 20, 2011. Bro. Hoby Grace and Bro. Keith Grigsby officiated the service. Burial was in the McEwen Cemetery. Survivors include; Parents: Jimmy and Bo Phy, McEwen,TN Sister: Katie Phy, McEwen,TN Maternal Grandmother: Thelma Carpenter, McEwen,TN Paternal Grandmother: Mae Phy, McEwen,TN A host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, and friends Preceded in death by Grandfathers: Byram D. Phy and Bobby Alton Tummins
