George Samuel Bone

Mr. George Samuel Bone, age 70, of Waverly, TN, died Friday, September 9, 2011, in Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Bone was born March 21, 1941 in Waverly, TN, to Joseph Henry and Ellen Pirtle Bone. He was married to the late Elizabeth "Betty" Irvine Bone and Shirley McCaleb Forrest Bone. Mr. Bone was a retired union ironworker. He was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ, Waverly Elks Lodge and Ironworkers Local Union #492. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 2:30-8 p.m. and Monday from 9-11 a.m., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Luff-Bowen Chapel in Waverly, TN, with Bro. Jeff Keele officiating. Interment will follow in the Bone Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
