Mary Dee Allison

Miss Mary Dee Allison, age 82, of Waverly, TN, died Friday, May 6, 2011, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. She was born on October 9, 1928 in Waverly, TN to Austin Alfred and Anna Pearl Gibbons Allison. She worked as a CPA in Nashville and moved back to Waverly in 1972. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living member of Bascom United Methodist Church in Waverly, TN. Miss Allison was a 50 year member and two-time past matron of Order of Eastern Star #167 in Waverly, and a member of White Shrine in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 PM Saturday, May 7, 2011, and on Sunday, May 8, 2011, from 11 AM until funeral service time at 2 PM, at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Rev. Joel Nulty will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery on Halls Creek in Waverly, TN.
