Roger Eugene Thompson

Mr. Roger Eugene Thompson, age 82, of Waverly, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Signature Health Care Center in Erin, TN. Mr. Thompson was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and the U. S. Army Retired. He served in WWII and the Korean War. Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 22, 2011 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again on Saturday from 9 A.M. until funeral time at 1 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN, with the U. S. Army Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow in the Murphree Cemetery in Waverly, TN, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to your favorite charity.
