James Eugene Boone

Rev. James Eugene Boone, age 81, of Waverly, TN, died Thursday, December 30, 2010, in Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Rev. Boone was the son of Leo Daniel and Mary Inez Buchanan Boone. Rev. Boone was a former Gideon, former pastor for 7 years of the Pine Hill Church of the Nazarene in McEwen, TN, former pastor for 5 years of the First Church of the Nazarene in Dover, TN, pastored the Church of the Nazarene for 3 years in Monticello, IN, for 3 years in Nebo, IL, for 2 years in Lowell, IN, and for 2 years in Tipton, IN. Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 3, 2011, from 4-8:30 P.M. and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Funeral services for Rev. Boone will be at 1 P. M. Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, with Rev. Scott Ezell and Rev. Lawrence Golden officiating. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
