Coach Kenny Ross

Coach Kenny Ross, age 68 of McEwen, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Coach Ross was born in McEwen, TN on July 15, 1942, to Truman Dewitt "T.D." and Virginia Margaret Davis Ross. He was a member and deacon at McEwen First Free Will Baptist Church, a member of The Songsmen Quartet, a graduate of Austin Peay State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in Education, McEwen High School Boys Basketball Coach for 30+ years, Assistant Football Coach, Announcer for football games, "Volunteer" Sound Man for various occasions, and a member of the Right to Life. All services for Coach Kenny Ross will be at the McEwen First Free Will Baptist Church, 40 Locust Street, McEwen, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 10, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 11, 2010, from 9 a.m. until funeral service time at 2 p.m. Rev. Tommy Street, Rev. Paul Sitton, Rev. Max Lankford, Rev. Jeff Lankford, Rev. James Parham, and Rev. Ray Mayo will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Ross Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
