Myrtle Buchanan Townsend, age 95, of Waverly, died Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly. Mrs. Townsend was born on September 19, 1914, in the Cuba Landing Community of Humphreys County, TN. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for the Humphreys County Nursing Home in Waverly, TN, and a member of the Waverly Church of Christ. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday June 29, 2010 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 10 A.M. until funeral time at 3 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly with Bro. Jeff Keele officiating. Burial will be in the McKeel Cemetery in Waverly.
