Dellie Sue Leegan Pirtle Oakley

Mrs. Dellie Sue Leegan Pirtle Oakley, age 94, of Waverly passed away on March 7 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Visitation for Mrs. Oakley will be on Tuesday, March 9 from 4p.m. until 8p.m. and on Wednesday, March 10 from 10a.m. until 1p.m. at Luff-Bowen in Waverly. The funeral service will take place at the Luff-Bowen Chapel at 1p.m on Wednesday with Bro. Jeff Keele officiating. Interment is to follow in the McKeel Cemetery located in Waverly. Mrs. Oakley is survived by: 3 Sons: Bill Pirtle of Hermitage, TN ~~~~~ James Pirtle of Haines City, FL ~~~~~ Jesse R. Pirtle(Anita) of Lebanon, TN 5 Daughters: Mildred Tucker(Billy) of Waverly, TN ~~~~~ Mary Hunt(R.T.) of Jackson, TN ~~~~~ Bettye Vetter(Eddie) of Waverly, TN ~~~~~ Gail Stewart(Ronnie) of Waverly, TN ~~~~~ Donna Davis of Waverly, TN 23 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
