Clay Daniel

Mr. Willy Clay Daniel, age 78 of McEwen, TN, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at NHC Health Care Center in Dickson, TN. He was born on December 19, 1930 in Waverly, TN to Eddie Lee and Laura Bell Ayers Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; John Clyde Daniel, Thomas Clint Daniel, Clarence Lee Daniel, Irene Daniel Carson, and Claudine Daniel. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Lou Holland Daniel; McEwen, TN, daughters; Cindy Holland (Anthony), McEwen, TN, Brenda Tyler (Jeff), Brentwood, TN, 2 grandchildren; Caleb and Ryan Tyler, Brentwood, TN, sister-in-law; Bessie Daniel, Clarksville, TN, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Clay Daniel was a former sewing machine mechanic for Washington Manufacturing Company and OshKosh B'Gosh, Inc. in McEwen, TN. He was a member of First Baptist Church, McEwen, TN. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30-8:00 P.M., Monday, November 23, 2009 and Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 9:00 until funeral service time at 11:00 A.M., at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rev. Jonathan Witt will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Fews Chapel Cemetery, McEwen, TN. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McCord, Don McCord, Dick Trout, Ed Gunn, Herbert Greenwell, and Gene Scarlett.
