John Thomas Mullinicks, Sr.

Mr. John Thomas "Tommy" Mullinicks, Sr., age 62 of McEwen, TN, died Sunday November 1, 2009. Mr. Mullinicks was a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard and was also a retired Control Room Operator for E.I. Dupont in New Johnsonville, TN. Tommy was an avid fisherman, duck hunter, sportsman and a friend to all. He was a devoted husband,father,grandfather, and brother. He fought a courageous battle for two months with lung cancer and died peacefully at home with his wife at his side. He was a member of the Kentucky Lake Bass Anglers, Humphreys County Bass Club, and Willow Ridge Golfer. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 3 P.M until 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until funeral time at 11 A.M. The funeral service will be held at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen with burial in the McEwen Cemetery. Rev. David Yancey will be officiating the service.
