John M. Hoehn

Mr. John McDoneill "Don" Hoehn, age 70, of Waverly, TN, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Waverly. Mr. Don Hoehn was born on September 1, 1938, in Edinberg, Texas, to the late Robert R. and Kathaleen Campbell Hoehn. He is survived by his wife; Nancy Newsom Hoehn, Waverly, TN, 3 children; Patricia "Patti" Damesworth (Roy), Gretchen Turner (Danny), all of Waverly, TN, Robert R. Hoehn (Vicki), Garland, TX, 1 brother; Robert C. Hoehn, PhD (Johnnie), Blacksburg, VA, 1 sister; Kay Nell Richard (Albert), Liberty, MO, 9 grandchildren; Brooke Marek (Ross), Alison Brandon, Grant Brandon (Kelsey), Lydia Brandon, Jackson Turner, Zoe Turner, Rebecca Weickgenant (Aaron), R. Caleb Hoehn, and Molly Cathleen "Kate" Hoehn. Mr. Hoehn was the retired City Manager for the City of Waverly, TN, former member of the Humphreys County Library Board, Humphreys County Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Lake Bass Association, National Turkey Federation, GNRC, Ducks Unlimited, Humphreys County Civitan Club, and various other municipal and civic organizations. Visitation with the family will be from 4-9 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2009, and 9-11 AM Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly, TN. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the Luff-Bowen Chapel with Dr. Dennis Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
