Mr Huey P. Brown

Mr. Huey P. Brown, age 70 of McEwen, TN, died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Brown was retired from Ford Glass Plant in Nashville, TN and a farmer. He was a member of Pine Hill Church of the Nazarene in McEwen, TN, UAW Local #737 and the Antique Tractor Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; James Leslie and Julia Mai Williams Brown, and 1 brother, James O. Brown. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Sue Choate Brown, 2 sons, Kenny Ray Brown (Janie) and Mike Brown (Debbie), 1 brother; John Thomas Brown, 2 sisters; Dorothy Nesbitt and Bonnie Mathis (Freddie), all of McEwen, TN, 4 grandchildren; Mandi Beuerlein (Andrew), Brian McClure, Christy Bright (Adam), and Joseph Brown, 2 great grandchildren; Carson Beuerlein and Addison Rose Beuerlein. Visitation with the family will be from 2-9 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2008 and from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen, TN. Rev. Lawrence Golden will be officiating with interment to follow in the Edgewood Cemetery in Dickson, TN. Pallbearers will be: Les Brown, Jimmy Brown, Ricky Nesbitt, Kevin Shore, Dewayne Choate, Andrew Beuerlein, Carson Beuerlein, Joseph Brown and Brian McClure.
